A Giveaway!

I'm a lover of books. All kinds. Fiction, non-fiction, short books, long books, coffee table books...

Kate Spade illustration.

So when I was contacted by Campus Book Rentals to giveaway $50 credit to one of you, my loyal, sweet readers, I was beyond elated. Whether or not you're in college at the moment is irrelevant -- You can rent those books you've always meant to read. Or explore topics you've always been interested in reading about beyond the wikipedia page. ;)

For instance...
I read this book for Econ but would highly recommend it to all.
Or Stephen King's memoir about writing.
(This would be pretty fascinating to read, too!)

Of course, if you're getting ready for upcoming semesters, an extra $50 for textbooks never hurt, am I right?

Just leave a comment about what you'd use the $50 credit for, and I'll pick a winner at random on Friday, June 7th.

Good Luck!
xo

  1. I have a crazy long list of books to read. I still want to read Gone Girl, or perhaps something more classic written by Austen.

  2. Oh this is the best giveaway ever! I sometimes need to forbid myself to go into bookstores or on amazon, because I always come out with new books and no money, so this would be brilliant!

  6. There are so many books I would LOVE to get... I always regret not keeping some of my required religion class textbooks. I didn't appreciate all that knowledge when I took the classes, but I feel like I would love them now!

  7. THERE ARE SO MANY BOOKS TO READ.

Children's books! I love reading books and have a million titles to read over the summer. Okay maybe not a million. However, I do have a goal of reading 30 novels in YA or Upper Grade books.

This last year I have also gotten into reading popular adult books. So there are a lot on my list to get. One book I hope to read is The Worst Hard TImes by Tmothy Egan. The author will be coming to KU this fall.

Believe me I would have not problem using the gift card the problem is that I would double it and spend more, too much more on books.

Read every day.... reading takes you places!!

  9. Oh I love books :D Walking through the library almost overwhelms me though because there are so many books to be read that I haven't even touched. My fiance loves to write, and he is trying to write his very first book. I would use the giftcard to surprise him with that book by Stephen King: On Writing. He would be elated :)!!
