"You are missing from me."

In French, you don’t really say “I miss you.” You say “tu me manques,” which is closer to “you are missing from me.    
I love that. “You are missing from me.”

  4. well what you don't know is that when you're french and you're dating an american guy who tells you in an american way "you miss me" in french. it can be a little arguing.

    1. You are wrong. I think you used a bad translater or something.
      I'm French, and "Vous manquez de moi" isn't grammatically correct, we would use "Vous me manquez". "Vous" is the formal way to use "you", it doesn't exist in English.
      When you're not formal, "Vous me manquez" = "Tu me manques."

  10. It is the same thing in Greek and in all Latin languages...even in Chinese, Turkish and just about all other languages. There is nothing exclusive about that saying in French.
