{Quote of the Week.}

week {achtundneunzig};

Being vulnerable doesn’t have to be threatening. Just have the courage to be sincere, open and honest. This opens the door to deeper communication all around. It creates self-empowerment and the kind of connections with others we all want in life. Speaking from the heart frees us from the secrets that burden us. These secrets are what make us sick or fearful. Speaking truth helps you get clarity on your real heart directives.

  3. I needed to hear that tonight as I'm in a situation where I don't know if lying or truth will hurt my best friend more.

    I have decided lying would hurt more.

  7. This is an incredible quote, and I have always been a firm believer that being open and honest is the best way to forge any sort of friendship or relationship; however, sometimes people take our vulnerability as a sign to use us or take advantage of us. That's the hardest part, life's a balancing act of staying true to ourselves, vs. self-preservation.

    Awesome post. :)
